Overview
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Aurora, Colorado area to hire a passionate and qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH). This position serves students with varying levels of hearing loss and communication needs, helping them achieve academic success and build confidence in both academic and social settings.

Compensation
Hourly rate: $35.02–$39.42 per hour, depending on experience, certification, and assignment.
Weekly pay and ongoing recruiter support are included throughout the contract term.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Collaborate with teachers, interpreters, and families to promote language development and academic success
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and district professional development
• Support classroom inclusion and accessibility through advocacy and collaboration
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
• Active Colorado teaching certification with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Reliable transportation and professional references required
• Must complete all district and state credentialing steps prior to start
