The role supports a diverse caseload of students across multiple locations, providing direct, onsite instruction exclusively.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire Teaching License
  • Active Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license
  • Proven ability to deliver specialized instruction to K-12 students with hearing impairments
  • Experience working with students of all ages within multiple school environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Commitment to onsite teaching to ensure direct student engagement and support

Location:

  • Multiple school sites in Nashua, New Hampshire, with primary services in Derry, NH

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the needs of Deaf or Hard of Hearing students
  • Provide direct instruction and support to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Collaborate with school staff, audiologists, and families to promote effective communication strategies and educational outcomes
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain compliance with all state and district requirements for special education services
