Seeking experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support PK-12 students across multiple grade levels, from early childhood through high school. These itinerant positions are fully onsite in a K-12 school setting located in Downingtown, PA, with full-time and part-time opportunities available. Candidates must hold Pennsylvania DHH K-12 Licensure (Instructional I or II) to qualify.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid PA Teaching License in Deaf / Hard of Hearing (K-12)
  • Experience working with students in grades K-12, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Ability to provide individualized instruction and support for deaf and hard of hearing students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams

Location:

  • Downingtown, Pennsylvania
  • Fully onsite role within a K-12 educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and state standards
  • Serve as an itinerant teacher, traveling between school sites as needed to support student populations
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of educational outcomes
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and other specialists to create an inclusive learning environment
