Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) | Burnsville, Minnesota

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid Short-Call Substitute License (PELSB)
- Prior experience as an Intervener preferred
- Experience supporting students with sensory impairments; deafblindness experience is a plus
- Skilled in implementing communication systems and sensory access strategies
- Able to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, related service providers, and the Student Services team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized 1:1 support tailored to the student’s needs
- Facilitate communication, orientation, mobility, and access to the curriculum
- Address sensory, environmental, and safety needs within the learning environment
- Document student progress and observations in accordance with district guidelines
- Ensure seamless service delivery during the primary intervener’s absence
Location: Burnsville, Minnesota
Duration: 6-week leave coverage beginning March 2, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard school day
