Position Overview
We’re seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to work with students who require specialized communication and instructional strategies. The teacher will collaborate with educational teams to ensure equitable access and meaningful participation across subjects.
Responsibilities

Provide direct and consultative services per IEP requirements

Collaborate with interpreters, audiologists, and general educators

Utilize individualized communication strategies (oral, ASL, total communication, etc.)

Monitor progress toward academic and communication goals

Support families and staff in understanding hearing-related needs
Qualifications
-
Active Oklahoma Teaching License with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement (required)

Knowledge of ASL and amplification systems

Strong organization and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
? Hourly Pay: $38–$45/hour
