Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Collaborate with general education staff, interpreters, and families to support learning goals

Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with IDEA requirements

Track and document student progress

Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
-
Illinois Professional Educator License with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement (or eligibility)

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
