Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher – Greenwood Village, CO
Pay: $40 per hour (local) or $1,400 weekly (travel)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field

  • Valid Colorado teaching license with an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education

  • Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with auditory-oral methods

  • Knowledge of FM systems, hearing technology, and visual communication strategies

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring

Job Duties:

  • Design and deliver individualized educational programs tailored to students’ communication and learning needs

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and families to promote language access and academic achievement

  • Implement specialized strategies that support auditory training, speech reading, and linguistic development

  • Advocate for students’ needs within inclusive educational environments

  • Maintain accurate documentation, communicate progress effectively, and participate in IEP meetings
