- Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
- Valid VA teaching certification in Deaf Education.
- Knowledgeable in Sign Language
- Knowledgeable in Assistive Technology for Students with Hearing Impairments (i.e. FM Systems)
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
