Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Maine)
We are seeking a passionate Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our team and provide support to students throughout Maine. This role is ideal for an educator committed to inclusive practices and helping students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:

Active Maine teaching certificate (or eligibility for certification)

Experience supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing (preferred)
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills with families, educators, and service providers
-
Dedication to personalized instruction and student success
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deliver direct and consultative services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
-
Design and adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
-
Partner with general and special education teams to promote student achievement
-
Support the integration of assistive technology and accommodations
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with IEP goals
