Position Overview
Soliant is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, onsite position near Little Elm, Texas for the 2025/2026 school year. The educator will support students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through direct instruction and consultative services, ensuring they have full access to the curriculum and communication supports.
Responsibilities

Provide direct instructional and consultative services to DHH students

Collaborate with general and special education teachers to adapt lessons and communication supports

Develop and monitor IEPs specific to hearing-loss related goals

Recommend and support assistive technologies and communication modalities

Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and administrators

Maintain accurate progress documentation and compliance with state regulations
Qualifications

Active Texas Teaching License for Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) (required)

Familiarity with assistive listening/visual technologies, sign communication or spoken language methods

Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills
Compensation & Benefits
? Hourly Pay: $40–$50/hour (based on experience, education, and location)
? Weekly pay via direct deposit
