Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create individualized education plans.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction to meet evolving needs.
- Provide advocacy and resources to support social and emotional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid California Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teaching Credential.
- Proven experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across K-12 grade levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to implement individualized teaching methods and accommodations.
Position Details:
- Contract term: August 2025 through June 2026.
- Location: Folsom, CA.
- Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Pay Rate: $44 - $49 per hour.
- Age Group: Serving K-12 students.
