Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher – Full-Time – Fort Smith, AR

Responsibilities Include:

Support students with hearing impairments in various academic settings

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student strengths and needs

Provide services using ASL, oral communication, or total communication

Collaborate with interpreters, audiologists, and general education staff

Maintain compliance with IDEA and Arkansas state standards
Licensing Requirements (Arkansas):

Arkansas Educator License with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (K–12) endorsement

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education

Proficiency in American Sign Language (preferred)

School-based experience a plus
