Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) Job Opening | Fort Smith, AR
Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a school district in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2025–2026 school year. This role provides direct instruction and communication support for students with hearing impairments.
Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction in alignment with student IEPs

Utilize sign language and other communication methods as needed

Collaborate with general education staff and support teams

Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary

Provide training and consultation to families and staff
Qualifications:

Active Arkansas DHHT certification
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Deaf Education or related field

Familiarity with hearing assistive technology

Experience in school settings preferred
