This full-time position spans the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational environment in Gillette, WY . The role involves working closely with a diverse student caseload, focusing on fostering an inclusive and effective learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Eligibility for Wyoming licensure as a teacher.
- Special Education certification.
- Proficient in Sign Language.
- Familiarity with Assistive Technology for students with hearing impairments, such as FM Systems.
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred.
Location:
- Gillette, WY
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with educational staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide direct support and instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Support students in the use of assistive technology as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
