Caseload: Ages 0–22
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher for an onsite, full-time position near Gilroy, California. This is an itinerant role serving students across a variety of age groups and educational settings. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting students with hearing impairments and committed to inclusive, individualized instruction.
Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students ages 0–22

Travel between school sites as needed to deliver services
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning
-
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

Utilize appropriate communication methods, including sign language as needed
-
Support students in developing communication, academic, and self-advocacy skills
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field

Valid California DHH teaching credential (or ability to obtain prior to start date)

Previous experience with itinerant services preferred

Strong understanding of IEP development and special education compliance
-
Ability to work with students across a wide age range (0–22)

Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
