Typical positions involve 35-37.5 hours weekly supporting caseloads of 40-50 students across elementary and middle school grade levels. Your expertise in language development, auditory training, and accessible instruction makes a critical difference for students navigating both academic content and communication challenges.

You'll collaborate with audiologists, SLPs, general education teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive support. Progress monitoring, assessment, and data collection inform your instructional decisions. Virtual platforms require you to maximize visual supports, utilize assistive technology effectively, and create engaging lessons that work in digital formats.
