Onsite presence is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to K-12 students with Deaf and Hard of Hearing needs.
- Develop and implement specialized lesson plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Communicate with families, audiologists, and related service providers to support student success.
- Travel between assigned schools to provide consistent support.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
- Willingness to serve as an itinerant teacher across multiple sites.
- Open to new graduates with appropriate credentials, offering an excellent opportunity to begin a career in DHH education.
- Commitment to being present onsite as required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
