DHH Teacher | Gretna, Louisiana
Located in Gretna, LA, this full-time contract position is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support K-12 students. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, working 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar). Candidates with an active Louisiana DOE certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education are preferred.
Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The teacher will assess, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers to ensure a comprehensive educational experience tailored to student needs.
