ProCare Therapy is currently seeking qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support K–12 students throughout Oklahoma for the 2025–2026 school year. We are looking for educators who are passionate about accessible education and committed to helping students develop the communication and academic skills they need to thrive.

Position Summary

Locations: Openings available across Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, Broken Arrow, Lawton, and surrounding areas

Schedules: Full-time and part-time positions

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 school year

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit

Contract Renewal: High potential for extension based on performance and district needs
Qualifications
-
Current or eligible Oklahoma teaching certification with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
-
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Prior experience working with DHH students preferred (K–12)

Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
-
Familiarity with assistive listening devices, communication strategies, and inclusive teaching practices

Must meet all state and district onboarding requirements
Responsibilities
-
Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
-
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
-
Utilize ASL, visual supports, and assistive technologies to enhance instruction

Partner with general educators, interpreters, and specialists to ensure inclusive classroom experiences

Promote students' communication, independence, and self-advocacy skills
