Blazer Jobs is seeking seven full-time Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide instructional and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. These onsite roles support communication access, academic success, and individualized learning goals throughout the school year.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and communication strategies

Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

Support language development and access to curriculum

Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
Qualifications:

Active Louisiana DOE DHH certification required

Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Ability to work onsite full-time
