Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to work in the Herndon, VA area for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time itinerant position, offering competitive hourly compensation and full benefits.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

Travel between school sites as needed to serve students in multiple locations
-
Maintain records and documentation as required by the school district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:

Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid teaching license as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Open to candidates with out-of-state licensure
-
Previous experience working with DHH students preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
-
Ability to travel locally within the school district as an itinerant teacher
