VocoVision is partnering with school districts nationwide to provide high-quality virtual services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to support students through engaging, individualized online instruction.
Position: Virtual TDHH Teacher
Location: Remote – Must hold an active TDHH/Deaf Education License in the servicing state
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a virtual setting

Develop and implement individualized educational plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals

Collaborate with school teams, families, interpreters, and related service providers

Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain compliant documentation

Support student engagement and accessibility through effective technology and instructional strategies

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
Qualifications

Active TDHH/Deaf Education Certification/License in servicing state (required)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Previous school-based and/or virtual experience preferred

Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance requirements

Comfortable working with technology and virtual learning platforms

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
