A full-time position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to serve a K-12 school setting through the current school year contract ending June 17, 2026. The role requires an educator who is licensed and certified in New Hampshire and ready to begin as soon as possible. This onsite position involves working 32.5 hours per week with a caseload that includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Specific caseload details will be provided by the district once confirmed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instructional support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent communication access
  • Utilize assessment tools and progress monitoring practices to guide instructional decisions
  • Maintain documentation and comply with district and state regulations, including securing required fingerprints

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire teaching licensure and certification in deaf/hard of hearing education
  • Demonstrated school-based experience working with this student population
  • Willingness to work onsite at the assigned school location
  • Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload effectively
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting requirements

Location: Position will be based in either Hollis, NH or Brookline, NH (to be determined).
