DHH Teacher | Hollis, New Hampshire
This part-time opportunity is for an experienced educator specializing in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, servicing a K-12 caseload across two school sites located between Hollis and Brookline, NH. The role requires dedicated onsite support, providing 10-12 hours of instruction and support each month within a contract term extending through June 17, 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators and staff at both school sites to implement effective communication and learning strategies
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in relevant meetings as required
- Navigate between the two locations to provide consistent, quality services onsite
Qualifications:
- Active teaching license and certification in New Hampshire specific to Deaf / Hard of Hearing education
- Proven experience in a K-12 school environment working with Deaf / Hard of Hearing students
- Ability to commit to onsite work at both Hollis and Brookline school sites
- Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for supporting diverse learners
