Location:
- Mansfield, Texas
- On-site position supporting a K-12 school setting (Pre-K to 6th grade focus)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and interpret audiograms to assess student needs
- Develop and manage individualized education plans and attend ARD meetings
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Manage a caseload of students from Pre-K through 6th grade
- Collaborate with educators and families to ensure student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teaching License through the Texas Education Agency (TEA)
- Previous Texas school-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of educational strategies and accommodations for DHH students
- Ability to work 21-35 hours per week with minimum three days on-site, up to five days available
Additional Details:
- Contract position running from January 5 to May 21
- Competitive pay range of $50 to $62 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time or part-time availability with 7-hour workdays
