Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Teaching License for Deaf and Hard of Hearing through TEA.
- School-based experience in Texas is preferred.
- Ability to complete student evaluations and interpret audiograms.
- Experience managing ARD meetings and maintaining caseload documentation.
Location:
- Irving, TX (on-site only; this role is not open to virtual or hybrid work options).
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instructional support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing from PreK to 6th grade.
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and evaluations.
- Collaborate with educational teams during ARD meetings to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Interpret audiological data to inform instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records for a caseload of students in compliance with district and state guidelines.
