Located in a school setting in Pennsylvania, this contract position runs from as soon as possible through June 16, 2026, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialized instructional support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple age groups within a K-12 caseload.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailoring communication and teaching strategies to meet each student’s needs.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in deaf education and audiology services.
Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:
- Active Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing license.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching license.
- Willingness to provide onsite, face-to-face instruction.
