Part-Time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Issaquah, WA
Blazer Jobs is seeking a part-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for an itinerant onsite position serving both elementary and secondary students. This role involves delivering direct services across multiple campuses while maintaining an office base in the administrative building.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional and support services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations

Collaborate with general and special education teachers, support staff, and administrators

Travel between school sites to provide itinerant services

Conduct assessments and provide instructional recommendations

Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Communicate with families regarding student progress

Follow all school policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:

Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license required

Education Staff Associate (ESA) certification required

Previous school-based DHH experience preferred

Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills

Ability to travel between multiple campuses

Must be able to provide onsite services
