Teaching Position for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing | 2025/2026 Academic Year | Issaquah, Washington
Blazerjobs is seeking a highly skilled onsite Deaf & Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) to provide interpretation & teaching services for students in K-12 educational settings. If you have an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher and experience working in schools, this is a great opportunity to support students while working from the comfort of your home.
Position Overview:
- Location: Issaquah, Washington
- Caseload: K-12
- Instructing/teaching and interpreting duties for student
- Student is learning English & signing simultaneously
- Job Type: Full Time; 37.5 hours/wk
- ASAP to June 17, 2025
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) during virtual classes
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff
- Support students’ educational success by ensuring they understand course material
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
- Master's Degree
- Washington State DOE teaching License;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in educational settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with virtual platforms
- Reliable internet connection for seamless virtual work
