Blazerjobs is seeking a highly skilled onsite Deaf & Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) to provide interpretation & teaching services for students in K-12 educational settings. If you have an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher and experience working in schools, this is a great opportunity to support students while working from the comfort of your home.
 
Position Overview:

  • Location: Issaquah, Washington
  • Caseload: K-12
  • Instructing/teaching and interpreting duties for student
  • Student is learning English & signing simultaneously
  • Job Type: Full Time; 37.5 hours/wk
  • ASAP to June 17, 2025  
     
Responsibilities:
  • Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) during virtual classes
  • Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff
  • Support students’ educational success by ensuring they understand course material
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times  
     
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Washington State DOE  teaching License;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in educational settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with virtual platforms
  • Reliable internet connection for seamless virtual work
