Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instructional services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Support IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Assist with communication strategies and educational access supports
- Maintain documentation and participate in required meetings
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or a closely related education field
- Active Washington State Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) License
- ESA certification required
- Experience supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in an educational setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Must meet all state and district background and fingerprinting requirements
