ProCare Therapy is hiring Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teachers to support students in North Carolina for the 2025–2026 school year. If you're passionate about accessible education and want to be part of a team that helps students thrive, we want to connect with you.

Position Summary

  • Locations: Openings across the state, including Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Asheville, and surrounding areas

  • Schedule: Both full-time and part-time positions available

  • Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 school year

  • Pay: Competitive hourly rates, with weekly direct deposit

  • Contract Renewal: Strong potential for extension based on district needs and performance


Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) teaching license with a DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) endorsement, or eligibility to obtain

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

  • Experience working with DHH students in K–12 settings preferred

  • Understanding of IEP development, assistive technology, and differentiated instruction

  • Ability to meet all district and state employment requirements


Responsibilities

  • Provide direct instruction and communication support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

  • Collaborate with general education staff, interpreters, and related service providers

  • Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs and district standards

  • Promote access to curriculum and participation in inclusive settings

  • Support student growth in communication, self-advocacy, and academic achievement
