Location:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction tailored to the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students across grades K-12.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, audiologists, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including sign language and assistive technologies, to enhance learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students, families, and educational teams.
- Promote social and academic development through classroom and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Strong knowledge of communication methods, including American Sign Language (ASL).
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Work Schedule:
- 35 hours per week
- Contract duration: Throughout the coming school year (NSY)
