ProCare Therapy is hiring Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve K–12 students across Georgia for the 2025–2026 school year. We're looking for educators committed to providing language access and individualized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Position Highlights

Locations: Openings across Georgia, including Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, Athens, and surrounding areas

Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available

Employment Type: W-2 contract position for the 2025–2026 academic year

Pay: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit

Contract Renewal: High potential for extension based on performance and district needs
Qualifications
-
Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) teaching certificate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement, or eligibility to obtain
-
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (preferred, K–12)

Understanding of IEP processes, assistive technology, and inclusive instructional strategies

Must meet all district and state employment requirements
Responsibilities

Provide direct and consultative services to DHH students in accordance with IEPs
-
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, speech-language pathologists, and families
-
Facilitate access to the general education curriculum using visual and auditory support strategies
-
Support student communication, self-advocacy, and academic achievement
