ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time travel position with a supportive school district in Lexington, KY (40508). This opportunity is ideal for educators who specialize in auditory access and are dedicated to helping students reach their full academic and communication potential.

As a DHH teacher, you’ll provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. You may work 1:1, in small groups, or collaboratively with general education teachers to ensure students are receiving instruction that is linguistically and developmentally appropriate. Your role is essential in promoting language acquisition, self-advocacy, and academic success.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week

  • K–12 caseload; placements aligned with your strengths and preferences

  • Combination of direct instruction, collaboration, and IEP involvement

  • Weekly gross compensation: $1,550–$1,850, depending on experience

  • Housing and meal stipends available for travelers

  • Full 2025–2026 school year contract with potential to extend

DHH Teacher Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

  • Valid Kentucky teaching license with DHH endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Proficiency in ASL or other communication modalities preferred

  • Experience in IEP development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong commitment to educational access, language equity, and student empowerment
