Hourly pay is equivalent to $60 (housing and meal stipends are tax-free)

Caseload: 35 students / Services Early Childhood to 21 years old
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education or related field

Teaching license in either gen-ed or special education (willing to obtain state licensure over the summer)

Pass the Praxis exam for "Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students"
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in bilingual-bicultural education for DHH students.

Understanding of additional sign languages or regional ASL variations.

Background in speech and auditory training for students using hearing aids or cochlear implants.
