Role Overview This full-time remote teaching position focuses on providing comprehensive educational services to students who are deaf and hard of hearing through our advanced virtual learning platform. Make a lasting impact while enjoying the flexibility and innovation of remote education.

Student Population & Services

• Elementary through high school deaf and hard of hearing students
• Students with varying degrees of hearing loss
• Cochlear implant and hearing aid users
• Students using American Sign Language and spoken language
• Academic content area instruction and support
• Language and communication skill development

Core Responsibilities

• Virtual direct instruction in academic content areas
• Language development and communication skill building
• IEP development and implementation
• Audiological accommodation coordination
• Family consultation and support services
• Educational team collaboration
• Student progress monitoring and assessment

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
• Valid Kentucky Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching license
• Minimum 2 years of experience serving students who are deaf/hard of hearing
• Proficiency in American Sign Language
• Knowledge of hearing loss and audiological considerations
• Virtual instruction experience highly valued
• Strong technology skills and adaptability
