Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Merrimack, New Hampshire
Seeking a qualified Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students for a part-time, K-12 position located in Merrimack, NH. This contract role is available for the 2025-2026 school year, with an immediate start date continuing through June 19, 2026. The position requires approximately 18 hours per week (.5 FTE) and involves servicing a caseload of K-12 students across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across all grade levels (K-12).
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive educational support.
- Conduct evaluations and monitor student progress to adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Deliver all services onsite, maintaining regular in-person attendance at assigned locations.
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Teaching License is required.
- Current certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education is mandatory.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to working onsite for the duration of the assignment.
