ProCare Therapy is seeking certified and passionate Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve students across Texas for the 2025–2026 school year. We partner with school districts statewide to connect educators with meaningful opportunities that support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in achieving their fullest potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Position Overview

Locations: Openings throughout the state, including Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, and surrounding regions

Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit

Renewal: High likelihood of contract extension based on district performance and need
Requirements
-
Valid Texas educator certificate with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) or Hearing Impaired (HI) specialization, or eligibility to obtain
-
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (K–12 preferred)
-
Knowledge of ARD/IEP processes and state compliance standards

Familiarity with hearing assistive technology, visual supports, and inclusive strategies

Must meet all district and state employment requirements
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct instruction and language support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education staff, interpreters, and special education teams

Ensure language access and inclusion across educational settings

Support student advocacy and communication development
