Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Mansfield, TX
Blazer Jobs is hiring a passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve students in Mansfield, Texas. Compensation Packages
We provide tailored compensation for both local professionals and travel contractors:
Local Candidates (Mansfield area)

Pay Range: $43 – $50 per hour

Full-time, school calendar-based schedule

Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)

Equivalent Pay Range: $54 – $59 per hour

Weekly Take Home: $1,593 – $1,718

Compensation includes a lower taxable hourly base rate plus tax-free housing and meal stipends

Relocation and travel support included

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with hearing differences

Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with IDEA and Texas state guidelines
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and families
-
Incorporate assistive technology and communication strategies into instruction
-
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education (or related field)
-
Active Texas teaching certification with DHH endorsement (or eligibility prior to start)

Experience with IEP development and IDEA compliance
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Must pass district background checks and fingerprinting
