Schedule & Role Structure

Hours: Full-time or Part-time options available, ranging from 21 to 35 hours per week (equivalent to minimum 3 days up to 5 days, 7 hours per day).

Setting: Itinerant Role supporting a single campus (RDSPD - Regional Day School Program for the Deaf).

Caseload: Pre-K through 6th Grade students.
Responsibilities
The D/HH Teacher will be responsible for a varied caseload of students, with duties including:

Conducting evaluations for students with hearing loss.

Attending ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings.

Reading and interpreting audiograms.

Providing direct instruction and support services to students in grades PK-6.
Qualifications

Required Licensure: Must hold a valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teaching License issued through the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

Experience: Experience within a Texas school setting is highly preferred.
