A Texas school district is seeking a dedicated DHH Teacher to provide specialized support to students in PreK through 6th grade. This itinerant role focuses on ensuring students with hearing impairments receive the instructional, evaluative, and communication support needed to thrive academically.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to DHH students according to IEP goals

Support one campus with PreK–6th grade caseload

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations

Attend ARD meetings and collaborate with service teams

Interpret audiograms and apply findings to student plans

Offer consultative support to staff and families

Maintain accurate documentation and case management
Qualifications:

Active Texas D/HH Teaching License through TEA
-
Experience in Texas schools preferred

Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
