Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Mansfield, TX
Blazer Jobs is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide onsite, itinerant services for students in Pre-K through 6th grade. This role includes instructional support, evaluations, and collaboration with school teams to ensure appropriate services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional and consultative services to PK–6 students
-
Complete evaluations and contribute to eligibility and service planning
-
Attend ARDs and participate in student support meetings
-
Read and interpret audiograms to support educational planning
-
Implement IEP goals and accommodations
-
Maintain accurate documentation and caseload management
-
Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families
Qualifications:
-
Active TEA D/HH Teaching License required
-
Texas school-based experience preferred
-
Strong knowledge of hearing loss, audiology reports, and educational impact
-
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
-
Ability to work onsite
