Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Alpharetta, GA

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction in American Sign Language (ASL) II to support a single high school student
- Develop and implement appropriate educational activities aligned with graduation requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and families to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Maintain active communication and documentation conforming to state educational standards
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Department of Education (GA DOE) certification with specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing teaching
- Experience teaching ASL and supporting DHH students, ideally within a high school setting
- Strong ability to tailor instruction to individual student needs and learning styles
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families
