Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of a Deaf/Hard of Hearing student.
- Collaborate with school staff and family to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Maintain strict adherence to a fixed schedule from 10:20 AM to 11:50 AM EST, Monday through Friday.
- Provide services virtually when necessary to accommodate student needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Department of Education certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing education.
- Experience working with Deaf / Hard of Hearing students in K-12 settings is preferred.
- Ability to follow a rigid schedule and manage a focused caseload (one student).
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Open to virtual engagement methods to support remote instruction as needed.
Location:
- Position based in the Atlanta metro area with a primary focus on supporting a student in their school environment.
Work Hours:
- 7.5 to 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
