DHH Specialist Instruction & Consultation Near Milford, NH

End Date: June 17, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time (32.5 hours per week)
Setting: Onsite Only
Pay Rate: TBD (Based on Experience)
Caseload: K–12 students (specific details pending district confirmation)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across multiple grade levels
Adapt general education materials and curriculum to ensure accessibility
Collaborate with teachers, interpreters, related service providers, and families to support student learning
Participate in IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation of student growth
Support auditory, speech, and language development through individualized strategies
Train school staff on communication accommodations, assistive technology, and hearing equipment
Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and district policies
Implement instructional techniques that promote self-advocacy, communication skills, and academic independence
Requirements:
Active New Hampshire DHHT Licensure/Certification
Previous school-based experience is required
Ability to support K–12 caseloads across multiple school sites
Knowledge of DHH instructional methods, communication strategies, and assistive technologies
Must complete district fingerprinting and all required background checks
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Must be able to participate in a Zoom interview prior to hiring
