We are currently seeking a passionate and student-centered Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students across our district who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have hearing-related educational needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team of educators in a district that values collaboration, innovation, and whole-child learning.
Details:
- Part Time: 10 hours/week
- August 2025 - June 2026
- Caseload: K-12, Consultative Services
Hourly pay: $35-40+ depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
- Valid Wyoming certification as Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or hard of hearing in school settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition, auditory-verbal strategies, sign language modalities (ASL or total communication), and hearing technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
