K-5 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) | Littleton, Colorado
This position is for a skilled educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, serving K-12 across multiple grade levels including Early Childhood, Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 in a school setting located in Littleton, CO. The role is a contract assignment starting immediately through the end of the current school year, with a commitment of 30+ hours per week, five days per week.
Key responsibilities include working collaboratively across the district to provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The educator will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), conduct assessments, and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learners' needs from early childhood through high school.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Level Degree in Education with a focus on Teaching Deaf Students
- State Teaching Certification in Deaf Education
- Experience teaching a range of grade levels (K-12) in Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs
- Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and service providers to optimize student outcomes
