We are currently seeking DHH Teachers for schools in two dynamic and culturally vibrant cities:

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments in an inclusive classroom environment.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that are customized to meet the unique needs of each student.

Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure students’ educational needs are met in a holistic and supportive manner.
-
Assess student progress through both formal and informal evaluations, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure maximum learning outcomes.
-
Promote inclusion and accessibility within classroom activities, ensuring all students can fully engage with the curriculum.

Advocate for students' communication and social-emotional needs, creating an environment where they feel empowered.

Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.

Valid state certification in Deaf Education or an equivalent (or eligibility to obtain certification in the state of placement).
-
Experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, ideally in an educational setting.
-
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other alternative communication methods.

Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of educators, therapists, and administrators.

A genuine passion for supporting students and creating an inclusive, empowering educational environment.
