Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Schedule: Full-Time (7 hours/day, Monday - Friday)
Contract Dates: August 11, 2025 to June 3, 2026
Position Type: In-Person | Contracted through ProCare Therapy
Role Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, school-based contract position during the 2025–2026 academic year. This role is based in Mount Prospect, IL and involves providing itinerant services to students across 10–15 schools ranging from Pre-K to high school students.
Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, from preschool through high school.

Manage a caseload of approximately 20–30 students.

Travel between multiple school sites during the day (mileage reimbursement provided).

Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student learning and accessibility.

Develop and implement IEPs and maintain documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with DHH endorsement.

Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Must be able to work in-person.

Itinerant teaching experience preferred.

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
