Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Mount Prospect, IL
Pay: From $35-$40/hr, based off experienceBlazer Jobs is interviewing qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time position in Mount Prospect, Illinois. This educator will provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments across multiple grade levels.
Requirements:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a DHH endorsement

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Experience in auditory/oral, total communication, or ASL methodologies preferred

Current Illinois background and fingerprint clearance
Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals

Collaborate with general education staff and families

Monitor hearing devices and assistive technology

Support communication access in classroom environments
